Hotel General Manager

Were on the lookout for a dynamic and hands on Hotel Manager to lead our talented team at The Esplanade Hotel, located on the beautiful Llandudno seafront in North Wales.

As the Hotel General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the seamless operation of the hotel and restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while optimizing efficiency and profitability. Reporting directly to the Owners/Directors, youll oversee and lead the department management team, with a particular focus on food & beverage.

You will need proven experience of controlling all aspects of the P&L, be commercially driven to deliver EBIDTA growth and achieve monthly and quarterly department KPIs.

What Were Looking For:

A proven leader in hotel management with a track record of creating extraordinary guest experiences.

Have a proficient understanding of financial procedures and practices, effective management of budgets.

Have a good understanding of the commercial nature of the business and be responsible for the local marketing plan and events of the hotel and restaurant, liaise closely with the external marketing consultancy to maximise exposure and revenue streams.

Take ownership of daily operations, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service.

Be able to incorporate the restaurant management role as part of the General Manager role, leading by example and be present during service.

Collaborate with department heads to maintain and improve standards across all areas of the hotel.

Develop and mentor your team, fostering a culture of growth, excellence, and accountability.

Monitor and manage operational costs while maximizing revenue opportunities.
