Position: Finance Analyst
Salary: Up to £43,000
Location: Llandudno (Hybrid, 3 days in the office)
Role Overview:The Finance Analyst will be instrumental in assisting the Finance Business Partner by refining sales analysis, financial reporting, and commercial decision-making processes. This position aims to enhance reporting precision, develop financial models, and deliver actionable insights to boost business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain weekly sales reports and KPI dashboards for senior management.
- Assist the Finance Business Partner in evaluating sales performance and identifying significant trends.
- Offer data-driven insights to enhance regional business performance.
- Create financial models and reporting structures to support new store evaluations, sales performance, and bonus schemes.
- Aid in the development and automation of reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Senior Business Analyst to implement new financial models and streamline data analysis.
- Identify and address inefficiencies in existing reporting processes.
- Provide actionable insights to the Sales Director and Commercial Teams to support strategic decisions.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support business cases for new initiatives by assessing feasibility and financial impact.
- Ensure accurate data collection, validation, and reconciliation to maintain reporting integrity.
- Utilise Power Query and advanced Excel functions to analyse large datasets.
- Maintain strong system and reporting knowledge, continuously improving data accessibility for decision-makers.
