We are seeking a Site Manager to join a dynamic construction and development business located in North Wales. This role offers progression opportunities and the chance to work on a diverse range of projects of varying sizes and complexities, primarily in the residential sector. The initial project involves the refurbishment and conversion of Grade 2 listed buildings into residential units, with projects spanning across North Wales and the North West.
Responsibilities
As a Site Manager, you will be part of the Construction team, playing a crucial role in building successful projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Site Management: Ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards set by the client.
- Health & Safety: Managing health and safety on site to ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Programme Management: Developing and managing the construction programme to ensure timely delivery.
- Cost Management: Ensuring works are delivered in line with the cost plan.
- Workforce Management: Managing the in-house workforce and subcontractors.
- Primary Contact: Acting as the primary contact on site and taking responsibility for day-to-day activities.
Support & Progression
The successful candidate will be supported by a team of experienced Directors and will have opportunities for career progression within the company.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:

Professional Qualifications:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- First Aid certification

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years as a Site Manager
- Extensive experience in the Construction industry, particularly with residential projects and large refurbishments.
- Proven track record of delivering mixed-use residential new builds and refurbishment projects.
- Experience with the refurbishment and conversion of Grade 2 listed buildings (preferred).
- Joinery background (preferred).

- Valid driving licence
- Ability to travel to various project sites across North Wales.
- Strong leadership qualities with the confidence to manage and motivate a team.
- Robust working knowledge of the construction industry.
We are also open to candidates with a working foreman role or a Site Manager willing to work across multiple schemes.

- The initial project has 6-8 months remaining.
- CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) compliance is preferred.
