What you will be doing:

  • Assisting in the delivery of successful NPI processes.
  • Working to rectify any production issues that occur and putting in place corrective actions to ensure no reoccurrence of the issues.
  • Collection of data to be able to identify and make decisions on areas for improvement.
  • Communicating with all departments internally as required to ensure smooth transition of products into manufacturing.
  • Supporting of the test department as required
  • Helping to deliver Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site.

What you will need:

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing
  • Technical knowledge of a variety of processes including SMT, AOI, etc.
  • Experience of NPI processes
  • A relevant electrical or electronic qualification is desirable (minimum HNC)
  • Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement tools and techniques

What you will receive:

A salary of 40,000-45,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, cash plan healthcare, etc.

The working hours

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-12:30pm on a Friday. The company do offer some flexibility around this to start and finish a little earlier or later if it suits the person.
