We're looking for a Deputy Manager to join our team in Llangadog, helping to create a positive, safe, and empowering environment for our residents. This role is vital in supporting both staff and residents, ensuring everything runs smoothly in our home.
You must be fully flexible Monday-Sunday

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Be a Leader - Support the daily operations of the home and step in as the manager when needed.
  • Social Care Management - Use your experience in social care management to support and develop the staff team, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Staff Support & Development - Assist in managing and mentoring the team, including supervisions, appraisals, and return-to-work interviews.
  • Team Scheduling - Help create and maintain staff rotas to ensure proper coverage.
  • Decision Making - Use sound judgment to make effective and safe decisions, whether in-house or on-call.
  • Resident Care - Ensure all care plans and risk assessments are followed to provide the best support for adults with learning disabilities.
  • Community Engagement - Help residents get involved in the wider community, fostering independence and enjoyment.
  • Medication Oversight - Have a full understanding of medication requirements and assist with any necessary changes.
  • Communication & Collaboration - Work closely with all managers, including the Chief Executive & Head of Care.
