Catering and Bar Franchise Opportunity

The Vale of Llangollen Golf Club is a friendly, private members club, situated by the River Dee three mile outside Llangollen. The Club was established in 1908 and has 600 members in various categories. In addition, there is an active visitor and Open program which sees over 5000 visitors each year to the Club.

Due to the resignation of our current bar catering franchise partners, we are now inviting applications from experienced personnel to fulfil the role of Catering and Bar Franchise.

What will you be doing as a Catering Manager /Catering and Bar Franchise

  • The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the management of the day to day running of the bar and catering at Llangollen Golf Club which is currently a franchise arrangement.
  • Applicants should be conversant with all current food safety standards and regulations, in keeping with our current 5-star food rating.
  • They will also be responsible for employing catering/service/bar staff for the provision of all catering to the Club and have a flexible approach to working hours.
  • We offer a well-equipped kitchen, with a function/dining room overlooking the 18th green which has a dining capacity of up to 80 guests.
  • The role would ideally suit personnel with the ability and ambition to develop a successful business opportunity and to provide a first-class service to our members and guests.
  • A varied menu of snacks and meals need to be provided appropriate to the type of event. Previous golf club experience is advantageous but not essential.
