We are looking for astrong, motivated Hotel Manager, to join our team at Claridges.
Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridges is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. Since the 1850s, Claridges has excelled at the finer things in life: glamorous design, inspiring dining, impeccable service. There are many 5-star hotels in London but nowhere quite like Claridges. The hotel is a unique combination of splendour and charm with long-standing connections with royalty that have led to it sometimes being referred to as annexe to Buckingham Palace. Claridges has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the Foyer & Reading Room, LEpicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridges Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painters Room.
Scope and Purpose
Reporting directly into the General Manager, the Hotel Manager will assume operational responsibility and drive the performance of Claridges; ensuring a highly effective operation, delivery of guest service excellence, and maximise revenue and profitability across all areas in line with budget expectations. The Hotel Manager will deputise in the absence of the General Manager, and continually develop the product and the guest service proposition at Claridges to ensure it is positioned as a market leader.
Entry Requirements
We are looking for a self-motivated, forward thinking individual. Proven senior management experience within a luxury, multi-outlet environment is highly beneficial.The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a Hotel Manager role of similar and will need to demonstrate high levels of guest focus and solid financial and commercial awareness. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to lead and develop your team and influence across all areas of the business. You will have a hands-on approach and take a proactive role with departmental managers and division heads in order to identify and support needs at all levels. You will be an inspirational leader, who is passionate in delivering extraordinary guest experiences and who takes pride in sharing success with your team.
