Description

As Management Accountant, your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Work closely with senior management to provide key financial insights
  • Contribute to cost control, financial planning, and decision-making processes
  • Manage reconciliations and assist in month-end closing
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial operations
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects
  • General support across the Finance team ensuring all in check

Profile

Our client is looking for the following:

  • Actively studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA or an equivalent accounting qualification
  • Solid understanding of management accounting principles
  • Prior experience in Financial Services is essential, with a preference for candidates from the Investments sector
  • Skilled in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with previous experience using Oracle being highly desirable
