Job Title: Accountant

Hybrid: 3 days in/2 from home
Ryder Reid Legal is currently recruiting for an Accountant to join one of our leading global law firm clients on permanent basis at their London office. This role is integral to the firm' Finance team, providing crucial support to ensure compliance with tax, auditing, and reporting obligations across the firm's offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of VAT Returns and participate in projects to automate VAT processes.
- Manage the general ledger content, including periodic reconciliations and journal submissions.
- Support the preparation of year-end tax accounts.
- Ensure compliance with P11d and PSA obligations, preparing necessary reports and computations.
- Provide ad-hoc reports and assist with day-to-day compliance and client/vendor onboarding issues.
- Analyse and improve financial process flow charts and system notes.
Qualifications:
- Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (e.g., ACA, ACCA, AAT).
- Experience with UK/international tax, VAT, and/or audit is beneficial.
- Highly numerate with strong MS Excel skills and experience with other Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Ability to develop strong relationships and work effectively at all levels.
