Accounting Associate | Fast Growth Creative Accountancy Practice | Fully RemoteHarmonic are proud to be working with one of the most exciting, values driven accountancy practices in the UK, for an Accounting Associate to have real influence on the future scaling of the business.

The Business:

Since establishing in 2016, this exciting accountancy practice serves circa 200 clients, including some of the leading musicians, Hollywood actors, social media influences and content creators. With multiple offices in the UK and the United States, our client represents artists from over 20 countries and is truly connected to some of the most influential people in the creative space.

With total headcount at 25 and revenue at roughly £3 million and growing year on year, the business has performed exceptionally well during and post Covid, and is now ready to take the next step in driving further expansion. With an extremely values led approach underpinning the entire business since inception, there is a strong focus around continuous learning, collaboration, dependability and always being willing to help each other. As such, there is a low staff turnover rate and a real sense of pride throughout the team.

The Role:

The position will play a pivotal role in the firms client's success, with a focus on tracking income and expenses to ensure clients can focus on creating, entertaining, and shaping the world! Reporting into a strong senior leadership team who are keen to provide progression opportunities in line with the business future scaling, this is a fantastic position for outward facing candidates that enjoy delivering a first class level of service, working with some of the biggest names in the music and tv & film space.

The Duties:

  • Manage portfolio of clients / accounts from start to finish
  • Preparation of management accounts and month end preparation
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Complete year end and personal / business tax returns
  • Weekly bookkeeping for clients
  • Prepare weekly payment runs

What we need to see (Essential):

  • ACA / ACCA Part Qualified
  • Accounting practice experience

What we need to see (Bonus):

  • Xero experience

Salary: up to £40k + study support + bonus / benefits package

Location: Fully remote
