GPN Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with this accountancy firm based in Central London. Servicing clients from a range of industries and include start ups, high growth and long established companies.They are on the lookout for a semi senior to join their busy client accounting team. The role itself will include:
    • Workload management and delivery of high-quality services to clients.
    • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
    • Preparation of management accounts and forecasts.
    • Review and delivery of year end accounts.
    • Management and supervision of work completed by junior staff
    • Advisory work – Supporting. managers on a range of ad-hoc tasks
    • Participate in new business meetings, supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner.
    • Foster collaboration with the wider team and help train direct reports on the firm’s policies, processes, and procedures.
To be considered for the role you will:
  • ACA, ACCA part-qualified with a UK accounting practice, and may have industry experience.
  • AAT level 4 qualification desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Must be autonomous, resilient, and able to employ a logical approach to problem solving
  • Strong management skills and ability to manage a sub team.
  • Strong organisational and personal skills with foresight to plan workload well in advance.
  • A practice background & extensive knowledge of all services provided within an outsourced finance business (accounts, corp tax,personal tax, payroll, VAT and bookkeeping).
  • Understanding of the cloud accounting market and a passion for discovering and implementing new technologies.
  • Awareness of SEIS, EIS, EMI and R&D tax relief would be desirable but not essential.
