Their Advice, Audit & Accounts team are trained to have broad experience across a range of disciplines, from audit and accounts through to tax and other advisory services, so they can support their clients cross-discipline solutions. These teams work with clients who vary in size, from sole traders to medium and large businesses, across a wide range of sectors.You will be working within the Accounts and Advisory arm to their Advice, Audit & Accounts team, who work with their clients within the Professional Firms and Real Estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be working primarily with one assistant manager and two managers within the team. Whilst working on accounts preparations, there is likely to also be opportunities to become involved in ad-hoc advisory work, SRA Accounts Rules Reviews, and also assisting the audit team with actioning changes to audited financial statements which are audited by our wider group.

You will be working with various pieces of software including CCH Accounts Production, ProAudit and Xero. As you progress in the role, you will become responsible for assisting with the training and support of junior members of staff within the team.

Who are we looking for?
  • Currently studying towards the ICAEW ACA qualification, having completed at least all certificate level papers, or the AAT Level 4 qualificaton
  • We are open to considering candidates who have been purely working on accounts, or those who have been working in split audit/accounts role but now wish to specialise
  • Technically competent
  • Experience of ProAudit, CCH Accounts Production and Xero accounting would be desirable
  • We're looking for people who are excellent communicators, adaptable, enjoy building relationships and are passionate about developing themselves.
