Reed Online has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering month-end financial accounts up to Trial Balance and performing balance sheet reconciliations for one of our group's subsidiaries, Reed Business School.
Key Responsibilities

Managing all aspects of accounts payable: posting, coding, pay run

Performing revenue calculation (knowledge of dealing with apprenticeship is an advantage)

Posting month-end journals

Producing accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations

Demonstrating a good understanding of the financial position of the organisation at all times

Filing VAT returns

Recommending and implementing process improvements

Supporting ad-hoc projects
Skills and Experience
-
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role is essential

Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA?

Experience producing accounts up to Trial Balance

Proficiency in Excel and accounting softwares - Workday experience advantageous

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Accuracy and excellent attention to detail

Good organisational and time management skills

Ability to work with a degree of autonomy and self-regulation and with a hands on proactive approach

Ability to produce timely and accurate information in a pressurised environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to develop relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels and challenge where necessary
