Overview

The Assistant Management Accountant role within Reed.co.uk plays a critical role in helping to produce management information (MI) for the business and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce Monthly management accounting

  • Calculate revenue and costs to be recognised in the P&L

  • Produce departmental P&Ls

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls

  • Assist in annual audit with external auditors and internal auditors

  • Contribute to financial forecast processes

  • Support ad-hoc projects

Skills and Experience

  • Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA

  • Proven success in a similar role

  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting softwares - Workday experience advantageous

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Accuracy and excellent attention to detail

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to develop relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels and challenge where necessary
