The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting management accounting and business partnering across the organisation while providing general accounting and analytical support to various departments. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and experience working in commercial environments.
Key responsibilities:
- Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts for allocated business areas including running of month end journal postings and processes.
- Effective business partnering demonstrating strong communication in ensuring financial processes are being followed by the business
- Cost variance analysis, tracking spend vs budget, and highlighting differences to business partners in a timely manner.
- Supporting capex reporting for allocated business areas, ensuring tracker is kept up to date with spend vs each project & capex process is correctly adhered to i.e. capex forms correctly prepared & approved.
- Supporting Headcount reporting, analysing any variances vs budget
- Processing employee expenses
- Preparing bank reconciliations in multiple currencies
