I'm currently partnering with an incredible SaaS company that is looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant. The business is experiencing exciting growth and has a clear strategy in place for acquiring new customers. This opportunity offers the successful candidate a chance to develop and elevate their career to the next level.
As a key point of contact for the finance team, you'll gain valuable exposure to commercial finance while learning about SaaS business models. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
- Suporting the preparation of Management Accountants.
- Raising invoices, receiving payments, sending customer statements and responding to customer billing queries.
- Ownership of the Credit Control function escalating issues as they arise.
- Reviewing employee expense claims.
- Business partner with group entities to support Accounts payable, Virtual Cards management and monthly Bank reconciliation.
- Preparation of bank batch payment instructions for approval.
- Assist with the production of Monthly Management Accounts.
- Understanding of accruals, prepayments and fixed assets.
- Candidate will be have a degree in Finance
- At least 2 years working experience in a similar finance role
- Experience with the following accounting cycles
- Some exposure to preparing month-end journals
- Tech sector and SaaS industry experience
- Experience working with the repeating sales invoice
