We are currently seeking a highly experienced Client Accountant at Associate Director level for a temporary 2-3 month contract, with the potential to become a permanent position. You'll be working for a leading property management company on one of their most prestigious Central London portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a dynamic team and take on a key leadership role in managing financial operations for high-profile properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing of service charges, rents, voids, insurance charges, and credits to tenants/occupiers/clients.
  • Maintain and update property, lease, and occupier data in Property Management Systems.
  • Prepare completion statements, rent reviews, and interest calculations.
  • Manage on boarding and off boarding processes for new and outgoing instructions with relevant external parties.
  • Produce, reconcile, and close year-end service charges following RICS guidelines.
  • Assist with service charge budgeting and conduct annual service charge cash reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including VAT reports, cash flows, net operating income, and owner statements.
  • Authorise and review supplier payments and manage client funding requests.
  • Handle client payments and tenant refunds.
  • Provide leadership in client accounting for all properties under management, ensuring alignment with asset management strategies and client objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, RICS, ISO standards, and company policies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar client accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems, particularly TRAMPS.
  • Strong Excel knowledge and experience with financial reporting.
  • Direct client management experience, including chairing meetings and engaging with clients.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
  • Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
