Bennett and Game are delighted to be partnering a multi-faceted, independent accountancy practice as they recruit for an audit manager in their Central London office. Offering up to £72,000, hybrid working, 25 days holiday, private health insurance, and more.

Audit Manager Job Overview

  • Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, executing, and completing financial audits in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Review and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Identifying opportunities for additional services and business development, collaborating with partners to expand client engagements
  • Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients
  • Review automated audit work papers prepared by audit staff
  • Responsible for corporation tax compliance function of portfolio of corporate clients
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • 70/30 split between audit and accounts


Audit Manager Job Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with post qualification experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in audit, accounting, and tax, in a reputable accounting firm. Ideally 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of small to large clients
  • Thorough understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS and other accounting and audit standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. With experience in coaching and mentoring staff
