Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be entrusted with managing audits from planning to completion. This includes:

  • Leading audit engagements, supervising and mentoring junior team members, and ensuring quality in every engagement.
  • Preparing statutory accounts and tax computations while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating closely with client management, applying your analytical skills to gather data and offer strategic insights.
  • Ensuring efficiency and accuracy using HAT methodology and audit software.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified, with a solid background in audit within a UK-based accountancy practice.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with FRS 102 and audit standards, as well as a strong understanding of corporate tax and VAT.
  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and delegate tasks within a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to manage clients and team dynamics effectively.
