Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Lead audit engagements from initial planning through to completion.
  • Supervise and mentor audit teams, reviewing files before final sign-off by partners or managers.
  • Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements and identify any audit-related issues.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and draft tax computations.
  • Master HAT methodology to enhance audit efficiency.
  • Collaborate with client management to gather vital information, resolve issues, and recommend improvements.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified with solid audit experience in a UK-based accountancy practice.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards, and taxation (including corporation tax, VAT, and P11Ds).
  • Software Skills: Experience with consolidations and paperless audit software.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to supervise teams and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication abilities to manage and prioritize assignments efficiently.
