• Leading audits from planning through to completion for not-for-profit clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Assisting with corporate audits, contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial reporting
• Reviewing audit work, identifying areas for improvements, and providing recommendations
• Preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide professional advice
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a strong learning environment
• Staying up to date with changes in audit regulations, particularly those impacting the not-for-profit sector
• Collaborating with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist, with significant experience in audit within an accountancy practice
• Proven ability to manage audit assignments independently and lead teams effectively
• Experience working with not-for-profit clients is advantageous but not essential
• Strong technical knowledge of audit regulations and financial reporting standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
• A proactive and organised mindset, capable of managing multiple deadlines
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior staff is beneficial
