The Role: As Senior Director, you will lead a growing audit team alongside a group of fellow directors and RIs. You will be recognised as a leader, promoting the company and driving its objectives, while providing support and guidance (technical and otherwise) to your team.

Your responsibilities will include developing departmental processes and systems, overseeing risk management, and ensuring operational targets and KPIs are met.

Exemplary client service and process delivery are key to success in this role.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage a mixed portfolio of corporate clients, with varying sizes and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Lead the audit team in formulating audit strategy and planning.
  • Show strategic vision to grow the team, balancing short-term and long-term goals.
  • Ensure emphasis on audit quality, ethics, and compliance.
  • Engage proactively in business development activities such as networking, attending, and speaking at industry events, both domestically and internationally.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for new business.
  • Lead audit tenders and proposals.
  • Oversee the appraisal and development of team members, particularly at the managerial level.
  • Deliver departmental budgets and monitor key financial indicators like revenue, EBITDA, billing, and efficiency.
  • Report monthly revenue figures and manage wider group reporting.
  • Take the lead in recruitment and strategic planning in collaboration with other directors across the practice.
  • Act as the statutory director for the audit business, ensuring regulatory compliance.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a personable approach.
  • Current RI with 5+ years of RI experience.
  • Experience with UK GAAP and IFRS.
