Business Services Senior Associate

£52,000 - £58,000

An established leading mid-tier businesses in the UK, delivering a wide range of financial and strategic business advice: from auditing, accounting and other compliance services, to deal advisory, business strategy and international tax advice. Is looking for a Business Services Senior Associate to join their London office.

Key Responsibilities as a Business Service Senior Associate will include:

  • Production of financial statements together with well-presented working papers ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Serve as a key client contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advice and support on financial matters.
  • Guide and review the work of trainees and junior team members, for accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Preparation of management accounts.
  • Utilise accounting software and tools to streamline operations and reporting.
  • Ad hoc specialist assignments as and when they arise.

A fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with extensive experience in accounts production, from basic records to computerised systems. Proficient in Sage and QuickBooks, with strong multitasking abilities and budget management skills. Excellent communicator with good written and verbal English, demonstrates effective time management, meeting tight deadlines, and flexibly prioritising workloads is desired.
