Cobalt are working with a well-established property and asset management company who are looking for a Client Accountant to join their outgoing team in London. In this position as a Client Accountant, you will be working across a predominantly residential portfolio with a small amount of commercial properties; approximately 1000 units.

This role is perfect for a Client Accountant or Service Charge Accountant who is eager to join a social team and is motivated to advance their career within a growing business. This company uses Qube as their Property Management system - It is essential you have experience with this. Once settled into this role you will be able to work 2 days from home. The working hours are 9AM until 5:30PM each day.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the service charge budget and reconciliation process.
  • Handle the service charge expenses review on a quarterly basis, long with providing summary reports to the Property & Facilities Managers.
  • Prepare the year end service charge reconciliation accounts for the property manager to review.
  • Assist in the analysis of service charge accounts during the due diligence of new acquisitions and aid the disposal of assets as instructed by the Head of Property Management.
  • Check and review the quarterly service charge demands for accuracy.
  • Assist the property & facilities managers with the creation of the annual service charge budgets and associated reports and analyses.
  • Working with the management accountants to monitor non-recoverable & capital expenditure and assist with internal reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience using Qube
  • Previous history working for a property management company
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic with the willingness to progress
