They have developed and maintain an enviable reputation in Central London’s premier residential and commercial property sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to expand your expertise in both residential and commercial client accounting. This role presents an excellent chance for career advancement and personal development within an innovative organization. It is a hybrid role, with three days per week based in their London offices.

Role Description:

As a Client Accountant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Generating periodic reports for clients.
  • Assisting with ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Maintaining property and lease data on TRAMPS.
  • Raising tenant demands for rent, service charges and ad hoc charges.
  • Managing client funds, paying over rent receipts to the client.
  • Ensuring accurate reconciliation of client reports, including VAT reports and client statements.
  • Facilitating communication between your line manager, surveyors, and accounts payable for your clients.
  • Cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
  • Managing and maintaining service charge funds for each property under your responsibility.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with the credit controller to ensure timely rent collection and updating clients accordingly.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations.
  • Posting tenant receipts.

Key Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience using TRAMPS is essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry.
  • An in-depth understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills.
