Role Description:
As a Client Accountant, you'll be responsible for:
- Generating periodic reports for clients.
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Maintaining property and lease data on TRAMPS.
- Raising tenant demands for rent, service charges and ad hoc charges.
- Managing client funds, paying over rent receipts to the client.
- Ensuring accurate reconciliation of client reports, including VAT reports and client statements.
- Facilitating communication between your line manager, surveyors, and accounts payable for your clients.
- Cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
- Managing and maintaining service charge funds for each property under your responsibility.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborating with the credit controller to ensure timely rent collection and updating clients accordingly.
- Conducting bank reconciliations.
- Posting tenant receipts.
Key Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience using TRAMPS is essential.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong self-motivation.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry.
- An in-depth understanding of financial regulations and standards.
- Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills.
