IN2 Consult are supporting an established brand within the hospitality industry with ambitious growth plans on their recruitment of a Commercial Accountant to join their growing finance team.
This business has seen fantastic growth year on year, and are looking to continue on the upward trajectory they have been on in recent years. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to showcase strong technical accounting skills, paired with the ability to partner effectively with non-financial stakeholders across the business.
This Commercial Accountant role includes the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with operations, HR, property, and marketing teams to provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Partner with external accountants to review and analyse monthly management accounts, delivering insightful performance commentary to key stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely payroll submissions.
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for optimisation.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with the operations team to ensure accuracy.
- Work alongside General Managers to oversee cost efficiencies, stock management, and margin performance.
The ideal candidate for this Commercial Accountant role will have the following experience:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
- Prior experience within the Hospitality industry is a must
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to challenges.
- Experienced in building strong cross-departmental relationships, effectively story telling financial insights for non-finance teams.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to balance high-level strategic initiatives and day-to-day finance operations.
- Strong understanding of the financial intricacies of a multi-site business, including performance tracking at an individual site level.
