Meraki Talent is proud to be partnering with a well-known and highly regarded Corporate, Private, and Fund Services provider to support them in recruiting a Corporate Accountant for their London office.This role offers exposure to multiple areas of the finance function, along with the opportunity to mentor junior team members. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Produce management accounts for clients on a regular basis.
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and ensure timely submission.
  • Handle quarterly VAT returns and submit them to HMRC.
  • Prepare personal tax returns (preferred but not essential).
  • Maintain statutory registers and oversee company secretarial duties, including statutory filings.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by management.
Person Specification:
  • Ideally, 2–3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice or corporate services firm.
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, or at finalist level.
  • Familiarity with IRIS and Xero (preferred) or similar accounting software.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
