Corporate Management Accountant, Leading Private Credit Debt Fund, London
Our client is is one of Europe's leading credit debt fund managers with more than $12 billion of assets under management and they are looking to recruit a qualified accountant to join the Management Accounting team in the London office.
The ideal candidate would have experience with statutory accounting, regulatory reporting and intercompany reporting. The successful candidate would be able to work in a team while independently delivering their responsibilities, be flexible, highly motivated, have good attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.

About the role
Reporting to the Group Management Accountant Controller, the Group Management Accountant will have the following key responsibilities:
- Accounting and Reporting - preparation of quarterly and annual reporting for the various management companies and entities
- Budgeting and forecast - assisting with the budget and forecasting for all management companies, including the application of transfer pricing rules to related entities, working with teams across the group and developing group reports
- Management reporting - assisting with the production of quality and informative management reports for all management companies including group cash flow forecasting and rolling P&L forecasts
- Regulatory reporting - completing regulatory returns to the FCA, preparation of quarterly VAT returns and ONS returns
- Oversight of accounts payable and credit control, supervising a undergraduate placement Analyst with processing of invoices, bank reconciliations and be the key contact for bank relationships
- System developments and process improvement - work with Management Accountant Controller and external software support to improve our systems to make the function as efficient as possible
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate would need to
- Be a strong team player, flexible and highly motivated
- Have strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Be either newly qualified with either ACA, CIMA or ACCA from UK practice OR 1-2 years post qualified working in a similar role within the fund management sector in the UK
- Excellent MS Excel and Word skills
- Experience working in financial services preferred.
