A top 10 Accountancy Practice requires an Internal Audit Director to join their Central London based Insurance team.
The Insurance Advisory team provides a wide variety of services that deliver value-led advice and outcomes. The Director Internal Audit position offers a fast-track promotion route to Partner.
Hybrid working - 2 days / week from the London office.
You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and partners to help insurance businesses effectively. Identifying and drawing attention to opportunities for enhancing the firm's delivery and providing additional services.
Key Skills & Experience - Director Internal Audit Advisory (Insurance)
- Previous or current Big 4 experience (Senior Manager level) of providing professional services to insurance internal audit clients.
- Experience in the management of teams or projects successfully and strong project management skills and a track record of successful delivery.
- Strong knowledge of UK FS regulation, CII, IA methodology and insurance generally.
- Proven ability to plan, undertake and deliver internal audits.
- A strong network of insurance internal audit contacts.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently within a delegated remit, keeping partners informed.
- Strong written / communication skills, and ability to influence, lead, engage, and manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience dealing with client stakeholders and senior management.
