We are seeking a qualified accountant to partner with four schools within this east London trust to support the senior leaders on budget and spend.

The key responsibilities for the Finance Business Partner are:

  • Providing financial support and guidance to senior management and budget holders and challenging where required.
  • Have a robust knowledge of management accounting and budget analysis
  • Periodic forecasting and yearly budget setting
  • Translating financial information into clear, insightful commentaries.

The successful Interim Finance Business Partner will be a fully qualified accountant ideally with an understanding of education finance. You will bring experience in financial management including budget monitoring and risk management. You will be an expert in conveying complex financial information in simple terms to non-finance staff.

This is a 2-4-month basis whilst the Trust recruits for the substantive post, in which the interim candidate is invited to apply.

This is a full time, onsite role. This is a centrally based role, though you will be required to travel to all four schools within the Trust.
