Finance Controller

Communicate Recruitment is currently working with a leading Energy business in their search for a Controller. This role will give you insights into the working of a multi national £££ billion turnover business. The role allwos for real autonomy as you take control of full front to back accounting.

Title: Finance Controller

Location: London

Salary: £65,000

Responsbilities:

- Take charge of the full front to back accounting matters

- Fully understand the transactions coming through commodities

- Trade accounting, managing the whole process, controls and analaysing data

- Work with forward looking commercial finance

- Handle large data sets (Excel skills essential)

- Quickly adapt to new systems

Requirements:

- ACA qualified (ACCA will also be considered)

- Audit experience (Big 4/Top 6 ideally)

- Strong technical accounting skills from P&l to financial reporting

- Extensive understanding of IFRS, particularly IFRS 9

- Excellent Excel skills
