Robertson Bell are excited to partner with a brilliant charitable organisation to recruit a Finance Officer – Income on a ten month fixed term contract. In this role you will be leading in a variety of duties including managing all of the charities income streams and managing a number of different internal stakeholders.

In this Finance Officer - Income role, you will:

  • Take full ownership in all income related duties, managing streams of money coming into the organisation.
  • Manage donations, grants and dividends, making sure to identify the different types correctly. From here, maintaining detailed records and spreadsheets to ensure that all income is properly coded.
  • Liaise with the fundraising and volunteering team to digress financial information.
  • Working alongside the Finance Manager to provide regular updates on the status of income processing.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in dealing with income transactions, ideally within a charity or not for profit organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to liaise effectively with numerous non finance-based teams within the organisation.
  • Experience in managing donations and grants within a not for profit sphere.
  • A calm demeanour, being able to work well under pressure.
