Robert Half are looking for a Newly Qualified Auditor from Practice, to join a Global Real Estate Services Firm as a Financial Reporting Accountant. This position is paying £57k and is based in Central London with Hybrid working. This is an incredibly broad Financial Accounting position covering month end, legal entity rationalisation, tax, stat account preparation and the yearly audit.

The Role

  • This position will play a pivotal role in the preparation of statutory financial reports and support management reporting activities.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards.
  • Support the creation of statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process for both the consolidated group and UK statutory accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation and ongoing enhancement of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Contribute to special projects, such as legal entity restructuring, offering technical accounting support where necessary.
  • Aid in developing schedules for footnote disclosures for external reporting.
  • Support the preparation of corporate tax and VAT filings, working in tandem with tax department colleagues.
