Description
- Manage and oversee daily financial transactions
- Produce comprehensive financial reports
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with legal requirements
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- Work closely with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Develop strategies that work to minimise financial risk
- Coordinate with the accounting team to improve financial efficiency
- Contribute to financial audits and investigations as required
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
- A strong academic background in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar finance role within the not-for-profit sector
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in the education sector
