An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join a leading educational institution in Central London on a 1-year fixed term contract. In this role, you will support the Finance Manager in ensuring the organisation's financial health and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing annual accounts, budgets, and monthly management accounts.
  • Support the preparation of VAT returns and payroll administration.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights for budget holders.
  • Ensure billing accuracy and oversee financial compliance.
  • Aid with audit preparation and ensure effective financial reporting.

Essential Experience:

  • Solid experience in financial reporting, data analysis, and payroll.
  • High proficiency with MS Excel and financial systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication.
  • School or educational institution experience is desirable but not essential.
