About the Job

As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of financial processes, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and delivering a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders. Your role will focus on managing sales and purchase ledgers, treasury management, and reconciling bank accounts.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions, including sales and purchase ledgers
  • Handling bank and control account reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Monitoring and managing sales ledger debts and taking action to recover them
  • Ensuring compliance with CIS requirements for suppliers
  • Managing cash forecasts and reviewing bank mandates regularly
  • Liaising with auditors and external bodies regarding financial controls
About the Successful Applicant

You will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Excel and other IT systems is essential, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
