Supporting innovative projects across the whole of London, tackling inequality, poverty, homelessness and social isolation. The role will support finance and the donors, reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:-

Duties of the Finance Officer Role:-

  • All aspects of sales ledger, raising invoices and cash allocation
  • Chasing outstanding debts and analyse aged debtor reports
  • Update Gift Aid and process donations
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly
  • Manage purchase ledger, batch and code invoices
  • Raise weekly payment runs
  • Record and monitor expenses including credit cards
  • Check Grant payments made and log onto the system
  • Handle all donor queries and ensure they are handled efficiently
  • Monitor and report on support care metrics, analysing trends to improve processes

Requirements of the Finance Officer Role:-

  • AAT qualified or studier
  • Experience of processing Gift Aid
  • Previous finance experience in a Charity
  • Strong systems skills including SAGE 200
