Venn Group are currently working alongside a leading London based Housing Association who are looking to recruit a well-rounded Finance Officer to support the payments team. The successful Finance Officer will be responsible for ensuring payments are processed accurately and timely and assist with cashiering and receivables during busy periods.

Salary:                               £32,000 - £34,000

Working Pattern:               2 days on site per week

Job responsibilities:

  • Payment and invoice processing
  • Journal processing and postings
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Strong system and Excel skills (v-lookups / basic formulas)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

Experience:

  • Knowledge of the Housing or Property sector
  • AAT level 2 or equivalent qualification
  • Exposure to both accounts payable, receivable and cashiering is advantageous
