Job Title: Project AccountantIndustry: Consultancy Salary: Up to 60kLocation: London, West End Working Pattern: Hybrid 2/3Contract: 12-month Fixed TermMUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A CONSULTANCY
POSITION PURPOSEAs a Project Controller, you will be responsible for the operational and project support of the sales units, along with senior leadership teams. You will proactively create and maintain documentation for all projects, also acting as your work flow tool. You will be confident in dealing with senior management and not afraid to challenge and improve current processes.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIESReviewing of opportunity pipeline in the CRM system and assisting Partners with any related queriesActivation of project codes in SAP, booking of projects and ensuring relevant documents are received and filed in a timely mannerAssisting and reviewing project plans in SAPCreation of purchase orders for other offices where necessaryCreation of third-party customer invoices and distributionCash collection function - follow-up on overdue invoicesLiaising with colleagues from other offices and maintaining good relationshipsChecking and ensuring timely timesheet bookings and reviewing project status reportsAssisting with the Audit process - collating and preparing documents, providing clarity on any project related queriesLiaising with external suppliers to provide project updates as appropriateAd-hoc requests, reporting and financial analysisCollaboration in further development and optimisation of controlling processesPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Successfully completed degree level studies
- Skilled finance professional with professional services/consultancy experience
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and a goal-oriented approach to work
- Strong service and customer orientation as well as team spirit. Experience in supplier management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel)
- SAP experience desirable
