Financial Accountant | Fast-Growth Beverage Scaleup | London / Hybrid

Harmonic is delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's most exciting beverage scaleups as they continue their mission to redefine the drinks space. With rapid growth across the UK and international markets, this business has built a strong reputation for its exceptional product and dynamic brand identity.

Despite their expansion, they have maintained a collaborative and passionate company culture, with a commitment to high standards and innovation. Based in a vibrant London HQ, this is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking team in a hybrid role (three days per week in the office).

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely execution of core finance processes while managing and developing a high-performing team. This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about process improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop a team of finance assistants, providing regular feedback, one-to-ones, and personal growth plans to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Full ownership of the order-to-cash process, including invoice posting, credit control policy implementation, and AR reporting. Work closely with internal stakeholders to align statements and maintain ledger accuracy.
  • Oversee the purchase-to-pay process, ensuring efficient invoice processing, supplier alignment, and execution of weekly payment runs.
  • Own key month-end processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis. Work closely with the wider business to provide accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage short-term cash flow forecasting, expenses policy, and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, corporation tax, and international tax obligations.
  • Support the annual audit and statutory accounts process while driving process improvements using finance systems and technology.

What our client would love to see (essential):

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ICAS etc) with at least 1 years of industry experience.
  • Strong experience managing AP and AR processes.
  • Excellent communication and planning skills, with the ability to manage deadlines across the business.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + bonus

  • Annual Bonus based on company and individual performance.

Start Date: ASAP (3 months max)

Location: Central London (hybrid working offered)
