Company Overview

You will be joining a very well-established International Law Firm as their Financial Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a sizeable team of 15, reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be provided with excellent future progression opportunities here. Based in their very modern Central London office 3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining 2 days.

Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for preparing monthly consolidation cash flow statements/rolling forecast, assisting in the production of P&L and balance sheet reports on a monthly basis, maintaining prepayments and accruals entries, reviewing cost lines and performance against budget, overseeing consolidated cash position, reviewing month-end office account and reviewing monthly intercompany balances/recharges. You will also be given the opportunity to get involved in Income Tax/VAT, Compliance and Treasury duties.

Role Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to be coming from either a Legal/Professional Services background, or a mid-sized business. Candidates coming from Practice will be considered, but you must have experience with Legal/Professional Services clients. You will need to be strong with running core processes (month-end prepayments/accruals) and have experience in implementing new systems and processes. You will be a proactive and enthusiastic individual with meticulous attention to detail and demonstrable track record of great client contact/care. You will be competent with the use of Accounting software and Excel.
