Financial Accountant | Technology firm | £45k
A global technology firm is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its finance function, due to recent growth.
Hybrid working role.
Main duties include:
- Must be intermediate/ advanced Excel skills, e.g. V Look-ups and Pivot Tables
- Production of timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations for selected balance sheet accounts.
- Liaise with internal and external clients to deliver reporting requirements
- Assist with the full-year and Interim audit process
- Prepare and create statutory accounts
- Variance analysis
- Assisting in preparation of the audit at all stages
- Support with the preparation of the annual financial statements
- Support the Financial Planning & Analysis Teams to submit the annual budget
- Preparation and input of month end journals.
- Participate in the monthly intercompany reconciliation process and perform internal controls relating to intercompany transactions to ensure mismatches are resolved.
- Own accounting, control and reporting of fixed assets.
- Production of External data requirements for regulatory bodies
- Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
- Set up and maintain automated data processes.
- Independently manage and own the VAT and Corporation Tax submission
- Must be part-qualified in ACCA /ACA
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role

- Be analytical and inquisitive.
- Experience of working on large projects
- Experience previous Management / Finance accountant role
- Experience of working with external financial auditors
- Be keen to learn and understand all aspects of our business.
