We're partnering with a leading philanthropic organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people to find an ambitious and motivated Financial Accountant. As the Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising financial processes to ensure resources are used effectively to achieve the mission. Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee financial processes, including processing payments, managing expenses, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Financial Control: Perform reconciliations, manage treasury functions, and ensure robust financial controls are in place to safeguard resources.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the production of financial reports, support the preparation for audits, and contribute to financial planning and analysis to help drive strategic decision-making.
  • Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to colleagues, enhancing their understanding of financial processes. Proactively contribute to system improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of one year's accounting/finance experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with an aptitude for process improvement.
  • Passion for the mission and a desire to work in an impactful, mission-driven environment.
