Ruby Group are recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for a, global business operating in over 50 countries based in London. This is a newly created role to support the Group Financial Controller. You will take full responsibility for managing and reconciling the fixed asset balance sheet, reporting under IFRS16, CAPEX projections and preparing presentations for various reporting periods. Other duties include supporting audit and statutory accounts production, generating monthly reports to FD/CFO, controlling intercompany reconciliations and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:

  • Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 1 years post qualified experience
  • Experience with IFRS regulations and IFRS16 specifically
  • Extensive understanding and experience of financial reporting and governance
  • Able to work under pressure and be organised to meet tight deadlines on time
  • Statutory accounts preparation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • SAP experience would be desirable
  • Experience working in a large company would also be desirable
