Financial ControllerLondon£80-£90K

The role:

A newly created Financial Controller role within the company with a look to build and develop a team as the company expand.

Duties:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the portfolio of real estate assets.
  • Perform variance analysis, budget forecasting, and financial modelling in Excel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory accounts, including VAT returns, corporation tax, and capital allowances.
  • Oversee all aspects of property accounting, including rent rolls and service charges
  • Maintenance of lease schedules.
  • Review and reconcile tenant ledgers, accounts receivable, and payable processes.

Requirements:

  • A strong and self motivated individual who is happy with a hands-on accounting role.
  • Experience in real estate accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS) and property tax regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Yardi, Bluebox) and MS Excel.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
