This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take on a key leadership role in a forward-thinking organisation. With a hybrid working pattern and a competitive package, this role offers a great balance of responsibility, flexibility, and career progression.The RoleAs Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. Working closely with the Finance Director and key stakeholders across the business.Your responsibilities as the Financial Controller will include:
  • Overseeing monthly management reporting and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Ensuring a smooth and efficient external audit process.
  • Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Providing project profitability analysis and commercial finance support.
  • Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards (US GAAP experience beneficial).
  • Managing tax filings and regulatory reporting across relevant regions.
  • Leading and mentoring a finance team, ensuring their growth and performance.
  • Supporting strategic decision-making with financial insights.
  • Collaborating with external banks and internal legal teams on project financial requirements.
  • Deputising for the Finance Director as needed.
To be considered for the Financial Controller position, you must be:
  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a similar role.
  • A strong leader with experience in managing and mentoring finance teams.
  • Skilled in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS (US GAAP experience is a plus).
  • A strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
