With global turnover of £1billion, the business has grown organically and via some key acquisitions as they push their position in their key markets, whilst driving in to new markets and disciplines. The business is the market leader and renowned for delivery.
Within the UK, the business is in a high growth phase and also transforming their processes and controls and are subsequently looking for a new Financial Controller position.
Description
The Financial Controller will be responsible for:
- Leading and mentoring their team
- Preparing the monthly management accounts and board packs
- Partnering non-finance leaders to understand the results
- Period-end close
- Reviewing all reconciliations
- Preparing the annual statutory accounts
- Leading and assisting the annual audit
- Cashflow management
- Supporting integration and developing processes
- Maintain and improving a robust control environment
- Ad-hoc as required
Profile
The successful candidate will be:
- A fully qualified accountant from a top practice (ACA/ACCA) with 5+ years PQE
- Experience in a similar financial control role
- Strong technical finance skills
- Prior people management experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Team player
Job Offer
The Financial Controller role comes with a competitive base salary of £100,000-120,000 depending on experience, bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
Based in West London they have modern offices and offer a hybrid working model.
