My client, a growing media company based in Central London are recruiting a pro-active and ambitious Financial Controller to join their Finance department and support the growth of the group.
This new position will report to the Finance Director and manage a team of four. The Financial Controller will interact closely with various departments across the company globally.
This key appointment will be ensuring that a robust financial and commercial control environment is maintained, whilst also driving financial and commercial value within the business.
Key Duties
- To build and maintain closer relationships with key clients ensuring greater understanding of financial systems and the resolution of any problems swiftly and amicably.

Drive the preparation of management accounts and comprehensive board report schedules, guiding strategic decision-making processes.

Deal with Audit requests

Oversee revenue recognition processes, supported by meticulous documentation, to maximise financial performanceReview and Submission of payments run

Managing a team of four

Oversight of the general ledger and UK GAAP

Spearhead the forecasting and budgeting initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and market dynamics

Requirements
- Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Management experience
- Strong excel skills
- Commercial mind-set
