Ruby Group are looking for a Financial Controller to join a technology business. Our client has grown because of recent acquisitions, further growth is forecasted. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be in a highly visible and challenging position. Responsible for the complete accounting and financial reporting of the business in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.Your key deliverables will be to act as a single point of contact for the Finance Director, on accounting, reporting, and queries regarding US operations. Assist in the annual budget and forecasting process. Highlighting and explanation variances. Responsible for the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, cashflow management, invoice processing and payments, external audit, and bank liaison. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures in line with corporate governance. Oversee all reporting functions responsible for producing of timely, accurate, USGAAP compliant financial results. This will including consolidated reporting, variance analysis, forecasted results, and accounting conclusions to relevant parties. You will drive a systems project, implementing a cloud-based accounting platform. You will also be involved with recruitment of finance staff, ensuring a positive work environment is created, one that supports the team and individual performance. You will also liaise with Divisional Financial Controllers across multiple locations.The Ideal applicant will have a professional qualification in either ACCA, CIMA, ACA with at least 3 years post qualified experience gained leading a finance team. You must be able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal, decision-making and communication skills. The job holder must have the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet substantial deadlines. The expectation is that the role will grow significantly in the first year and give the holder the opportunity to stamp their mark on the department.
