Financial Controller

Venn Group are partnering with a leading PE backed complex care provider, who are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team.

Location: LondonHybrid: 2 days from homeSalary: £90,000 - £100,000 pa (+ bonus)

Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance team
  • Responsible for a team of 8 – Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant x 2, FP&A Manager, Financial Accountant, AP Officer x 2 and AR Officer
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Drive process improvements across the finance function
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors

Requirements

  • ACA Qualified
  • Previous experience working in Pracitce (ideally Big 4)
  • Proven leadership experience within a multi-site sector such as Property, Restaurants, Retail, or similar
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with statutory accounts and audits
  • Ability to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skill
